Lino print using a spoon, one color, on paper 100g, water colors
I liked my bike sketch so much that I wanted to retain as much of the thinner outlines in print as possible. Which was surprisingly easy to accomplish, apparently you can get really detailed working with lino. To color the print, I experimented with different methods: colored pencil, markers, acrylic paint. In the end, I liked water color the best. When not using it wet on wet, it didn’t even make the print run. I think it would be kind of neat if the little girl bike got some more playmates, maybe I can make this happen before the year runs out.
